2025 has already brought updates from some of New Balance’s most vaunted and treasured collaborators: Salehe Bembury, Action Bronson, KITH, and Aime Leon Dore have all added chapters to their roster this year. No doubt all of them will remain in the conversation in the coming months, but Joe Freshgoods is already taking his second lap. Expressed through the creative’s new retail arm, Every Now & Then, the New Balance Fresh Foam X RCVRY looms as the first JFG joint of the year.

The one-piece recovery slide affords a bit less real estate to toy with than the multi-hyphenate’s previous work, but Every Now & Then’s signature green nonetheless makes these pop. EVA foam pods underfoot are splayed out in dark green, breaking up the otherwise comprehensive composition.

Crucially, the news came in close proximity to a social teaser where JFG takes over New Balance headquarters. Holding court in a corner office, you can make out some potential future output: a New Balance 992 initially teased as part of the “Aged Well” rollout and a cleated performance style that’s hard to make out from these initial shots.

No hard release details have surfaced for the Joe Freshgoods / Every Now & Then x New Balance Fresh Foam X RCVRY just yet, but with the retail brand’s brick-and-mortar location reportedly coming soon, there’s a decent chance both launches will be tied together.
