This Nocturnal Nike Shox R4 Sneaks In “Cave Purple” Hues

Look for this men's pair as Fall 2025 dawns.

This Nocturnal Nike Shox R4 Sneaks In “Cave Purple” Hues

The Nike Shox R4 marches on as one of the more frequent faces in the Nike catalog, an unabashed attendant of Y2K stylings. Up next in its course of Fall 2025 deliveries is a “Cave Purple” Nike Shox R4, turning out the lights as it bucks the dominant shades seen elsewhere in retro footwear.

Indeed, rather than the dominant blend of greys and silvers we so frequently see in the tech runners and throwback basketball, here the Shox R4 pairs grape sidewalls with jet black anchoring around it, overtaking the collar, underfoot pistons, and a contrast panel at the toe. To ensure those start-of-the-century bonafides aren’t entirely lost, chrome accents sneak in on the jeweled branding hit on the tongue and in the linework on the heel, further adding some hi-visibility pop to an otherwise entirely understated colorway.

As a GR product, the Nike Shox R4 “Cave Purple” doesn’t come with a concrete release date. In lieu of one, expect this pair to hit shelves both digital and physical in the coming weeks. We’ll keep you updated as soon as it touches down via this article and our Sneaker Release Dates page; a $150 retail price is expected.
