Performing kickflips to secure your pair of the hottest release has become shorthand for the hoops sneakerheads will jump through, but it also speaks to an enduring truth through public peaks and valleys for Nike SB: their Dunks should be for skaters first and foremost. As the hype around the fat tongue silhouette has receded, that’s again become the focus for the brand, trotting out easily digestible colorways with that ethos at their heart anew.

First surfacing via in-hand shots earlier in 2025, the chiefly suede build remains the biggest draw with this pair, taking over both “Olive Flak” underlays and the “Dark Team Red” swatches above that lend this pair its name. Helping create a cohesive profile is the glossy purple Swoosh bisecting this design, providing a midway point between the cerulean outsole and the other primary shades. Given the deep roster of looks for both the Dunk and SB Dunk, comparison points are present in spades, but the “Bart Simpson” and select CO.JP releases harken to the multi-color arrangement on display here. All told, it’s another pair without much in the way of bells and whistles; welcome news for those looking to make good on the SB Dunk’s name.
