Is Trae Young Hooping In The Air Jordan 40?

Expect an official unveiling soon.

Is Trae Young Hooping In The Air Jordan 40?

Prior to being announced as a Jumpman team member, Trae Young used his Instagram to not only announce his departure from adidas, but unofficially unveil the newfound partnership. Now, he may be using his social media platform to tease the next Jordan shoe – the Air Jordan 40.

Before you go through the photos (let’s be real, you went to them first), we’ll point out that you can’t actually see the shoes. In this slideshow posted by the Hawks star, a few flicks feature Trae’s feet completely pixelated. This only means that he doesn’t want you to see what he’s got on, likely on the behest of his endorsee.

Based on our own sources, we know that the Air Jordan 40 is set to debut/launch this Fall 2025 season. The dots are there to connect that Trae Young is indeed hooping in the latest Jordan model, meaning the shoe has gone through all wear-test phases and is in the final stages before a grand unveil and retail launch are executed.

That said, Sneaker News will bring you first exclusive looks at the Air Jordan 40 model soon, so stay tuned for updates and await Jordan 40 updates on our Jordan Release Dates page.
