Matt Varga As the unadulterated 1906R continues its dominance with a march of seasonal colorways, the spin-offs from the tech runner have each taken differing paths. The 1906U, a frequent face in 2024, has cooled considerably. The 1906A, silent outside of its debut looks in that same span, now appears to be picking up momentum again with a duo of neon-tinged colorways. Could the same be taking place with the 1906W?
To briefly recap, the model first came across our desks in January, previewing a quartet of monochromatic looks before bucking that initial delivery by debuting in “New Spruce” and “Ice Wine” that month and in March, respectively. Just the seventh overall variation we’ve seen to date, this black and blue pair takes from its lattermost predecessor in its aesthetic choices, relying on a gradient pattern across its FantomFit lockdown system that lends the shoe its “Webbed” title.
With some of those aforementioned colorways still hanging in the balance, we can reasonably expect that they and the 1906W “Black/Blue” at hand are considerations for Fall 2025 release.
