Following a Team Bank Kobe 8 spread last year, the Beaverton brand is naturally progressing with team-friendly colorways of the Kobe 9 EM Protro in 2025. As we approach the cusp of the Fall 2025 shopping season, official images of the five colorways on tap are beginning to surface. Here we have the “White/Court Purple” Kobe 9; a versatile yet still Lakers-inspired take on the Mamba’s ninth signature.

These are about as low-key as basketball sneakers come, which is exactly the point of Team Bank collections. The upper is comprised of white “Engineered Mesh,” complemented by black midsole accents and “Court Purple” on the Swoosh, tongue sheath, and midsole paint splatter. There is, however, one main point of intrigue. Each member of the Team Bank Kobe 9 family comes with stitched text on the inner tongue, with the “White/Court Purple” reading “Resilience.” That characteristic most certainly applies to Kobe, and it’s especially relevant on the Kobe 9 given he came back from his achilles injury in the high-top Elite version.

The Kobe 9 EM Protro Team Bank collection is expected to release during the Fall 2025 shopping season, priced at $190 per pair. We’ll update our Where To Buy section below with a firm date once we hear more.

Looking ahead, the Nike Kobe 9 “Perspective” is releasing as a low-top this Holiday season.
