It really is hard to overstate Andre Agassi’s importance on the sport of tennis and how it’s viewed in the eyes of the public. Interestingly, while it was Agassi that made the ATC II an icon, it was one of his forebears helped push this specific colorway into the consciousness, as John McEnroe famously suited up on grass in the Air Tech Challenge II “Tart.” First released in 1990, this variation has seen retros in 2008 and 2014.
