Kasina Made A Converse One Star Exclusively For Friends And Family

Kasina and Converse may not have the deepest shared register, but their partnership has nonetheless been one of the Boston brand’s more reliable in recent years. Their 2018 One Star remains their most significant link-up to date, and though public interest in a sequel effort would likely remain high, it’ll be tough to grab the brands’ revisitation of the concept.

Indeed, the patent leather red and green affair at hand is an F&F exclusive, already doled out to some of the brand’s most treasured affiliates at an event at their South Korean flagship. Rather than the staid black and red arrangement of the original, here Kasina pulls glossy green patent leather onto the skate model. Its central design cue is a creative application of the One Star branding, flanking the largest one at the quarter with a string of additional silver embroidered counterparts to call in the Big Dipper. An embroidered Kasina logo finishes the shoe with co-branded flair on the medial side.

Again, if you haven’t already gotten notification from Kasina themselves, it’s unlikely that this Converse One Star is headed your way, unless you take to secondary sources. Yet even from afar, they’re worth taking in — catch campaign shots included below.
