Andrew Rizzo The tech runner wave doesn’t appear to be dying down any time soon, and with that, neither does the pace of ASICS GEL-NYC releases. The Japanese brand’s hybrid Sportstyle model has remained popular for yet another season running, now arriving in a playful “Terracotta” colorway.
Comprising an almost aquatic, beachy sort of vibe, a “Terracotta” mesh base is paired with teal hits on the tongue, heel, and GEL cushioning capsules. The underlays are cut from metallic silver leather, while cream suede takes over around the eyelets, quarter, and mudguard. The top portion of the midsole comes painted in cream for cohesion, followed by a white bottom half and dusky blue outsole.
