Jordan Brand Is Launching A “Too Easy” Musical On July 19th

Given how totemic Mike’s signature line is and really remains, there are few footwear headlines that attract more attention than the announcement of new Jumpman tentpole. With the Air Jordan 40 embarking on its first steps via “The Classic” colorway and the imprint overall celebrating four decades of operation, clearly special care went into the 2025 edition, again demonstrated with a new teaser short titled “Too Easy.”

Interspersed between a close-up of the short’s star “coming to” in a supine position, in-action shots of notable Jordan Brand athletes both old and new are the biggest draw here. The company’s longest-tenured active star, Chris Paul, shows off his savvy handles, Paolo Banchero skies for a rebound, Bam Adebayo cocks back in anticipation on an explosive flush, and Trae Young rises up for a trademark floater.

Likely indicating the eventual full-length’s tone best, a group of pickup players stomp in the Air Jordan 1 “Shattered Backboard,” creating a rhyhtm that’ll likely align with “Too Easy: The Musical” upon its full unveiling. Notably, both Young and Banchero were present for the media unveiling of the Air Jordan 40 for a panel alongside Jumpman employees. The two superstars will likely factor heavily into the silhouette’s lifespan as unofficial “faces of the Air Jordan 40,” so foregrounding their connection in its earliest days is only a natural play.

“Too Easy” is expected to go live on July 19th. Catch the teaser embedded below.
