Matt Varga Updated August 29th, 2025: After being pushed back from an initial August 8th date, the Nike Basketball “Immortalized” collection passed by its updated August 29th launch. Details regarding when the Book 1, LeBron 22, KD 18, and KD 4 will surface remain largely opaque, but a multi-pack of the two James silhouettes dropped via his shoplebron.com and House Three Thirty community space.
While no gold medal win is devoid of narrative intrigue, there’s no denying that 2024’s version of Team USA had some extra wrinkles that made it one to remember. A tacit celebration of some of the game’s all-time greats in their closing chapter, once again proving the heroes in round after round, the winning squad is in focus again as we near the one-year anniversary; Nike is set to unleash the “Immortalized” collection celebrating their signees.
For LeBron James and Devin Booker, their inclusions are easily to understand. James’ sparkling editions of the Nike LeBron 22, delivering iridescent “Metallic Vivid Gold” and “Blue Fury” colorways, will be hitting public hands, retailing for $250 a piece. Devin Booker, having already leveraged his France trip to promote his Swoosh work, will see the release of a snowy arrangement with a glimmering “Safari” Swoosh and a navy-dominant counterpart that centers championship gold on its branding. Each clock in at $155.
However, for the country’s all-time leading scorer, the choice is a bit less clear-cut. While his edition sported extra gold paneling, the KD 17 “USA” already released during the shoe’s initial run. Instead, Durant’s two-pack is expected to include an adaptation of that colorway on his current KD 18 and the retro KD 4 “Gold Medal,” a fitting homage to where the Slim Reaper’s national journey began. If this does play out, be ready for the KD 18 to arrive for $235 sticker price and the KD 4 for $135.
In a final piece of intrigue, the product SKUs for this collection indicate that both individual pairs and two-packs are registered in the Nike back-end.
