The Jordan Flight Court Carries Echoes Of “Military Blue”

As we saw with the launch of the Air Jordan 4 “White Cement,” consumers will still line up for the OGs. In the opening half of 2024, it was two distinct releases that proved that axiom true again, as the “Bred Reimagined” and “Military Blue” cruised to their own sell-outs and frequent inclusion in the general “sneaker of the year” landscape.

With that in mind, though the Jordan Flight Court is a few degrees refracted from the Air Jordan 4, it’s nonetheless a sensible play to trot out the classic white and blue split on the fresher invention. The white leather starting point and blue trim speak to the obvious 1989 inspiration, yet much like the AJ4 hardware refreshes for a new audience, there are several points where Jumpman designers branch out from the OG layout. A swatch of faux-aged coloring in the midsole is a notable piece, but this shoe reaches towards the “UNC” legacy with the uppermost eye-stay and select hits in the outsole.

The Jordan Flight Court “Military Blue” should be landing via Nike.com and select retailers in the coming weeks, clocking in with a $115 retail price upon arrival. If this pair has particularly caught your eye, feel free to keep watch over its launch via our Jordan Releases 2025 page, or simply catch additional official looks embedded below.

In another notable Jumpman drop, we just refreshed our coverage of the Aqua 8s as its July 19th release date draws nearer.
