The New Balance 9060 Looks Through “Frosted Glass”

The New Balance 9060 just celebrated three years on the shelves, and despite some detractors in more hardcore corners of the wider sneaker universe, the model is showing no signs of slowing down. As with peer models like the New Balance 1906R, widespread street style adoption has kept the brand motivated to keep a healthy spectrum of new looks available each season.

As we stand in the prime of the summer season, the New Balance 9060 “Frosted Glass” at hand becomes that much more wearable, dedicated a majority of its real estate to calming off-white shades through the upper and midsole. Abutting those neutral swatches are two competing choices: a touch of light blue on the leather heel cup and a speckled gum sole underfoot, each adding depth to the design in complementary and clashing fashion, respectively. At this stage, it’s increasingly difficult for the silhouette to register a truly revolutionary design, but this pair clocks in with the same easily-wearable bonafides that’s made the 9060 such a popular choice for so long.

While no official launch details for the New Balance 9060 “Frosted Glass” have surfaced yet, select retailers like Sneaker Politics have already listed stock with a $130 retail price. Check the “Where To Buy” links below to grab yours.
