The following was originally published on July 16th, 2025:

Nike may not be the one behind all these Ja 3 leaks, but when the shoes look this good, are they complaining? Yet another new colorway of Ja Morant’s third signature shoe has appeared in Sail/Black, drawing instant comparisons to the Kobe 6 Protro “All-Star 2.0” releases of earlier this year. Do the two have a connection?

A stark contrast from the high-heat and wildness of the Nike Ja 3 “Zombie”, this laid back iteration relies on subtle and lifestyle driven colorways in the ever-popular off-white Sail tone. Much like the Kobe 6’s snakeskin TPU exterior, the Ja 3  also boasts a textured exterior made up of claw mark-shaped arrangements of Morant’s apex logo. Black hits are sprayed onto the Swoosh logo on both medial and lateral sidewalls, with touches of a cactus green appearing on the “TWELVE” text on the heel. Finally, a matte metallic silver appears on the JA logo on the tongue.

While a release date for this new colorway hasn’t been revealed, it is likely arriving later this Holiday ’25 or early Spring ’26 season for $135. See first look images ahead and keep it locked in on this page for updates.
