Ronaldinho will forever be tied to the legend of the Tiempo. Before “viral” was even part of the pop culture vernacular, the Brazilian football icon had viewers glued to screens to watch the world’s greatest lace up some cleats and repeatedly kick a ball off the top of the goal. It was an ad without being an ad, which is truly the magic behind the Swoosh’s magic of the 90s and early 2000s.

In 2021, Nike honored Ronaldinho with a special edition colorway of the Tiempo Legend V inspired by that ground-breaking moment in marketing history. With just 3,000 pairs in circulation, the pair became hotly coveted, quickly establishing itself as a collector’s item; now, Nike is reviving that concept in a rubber-soled option, arriving right in time for the indoor footy wave.

Like the ’21 spiked version, this Tiempo Legend features the striking white/gold colorway replete with Ronaldinho markings on the tongue, an R-shaped hang-tag charm, a shoe sack, and custom shoebox. 5, 15, and 25 is imprinted onto the heel, marking milestone years of the Tiempo’s journey with the football legend.
