UNDEFEATED Launches Mini Documentary
In celebration of the release, UNDEFEATED has produced a short documentary detailing the origins and significance of their Air Jordan 4. Featuring in the footage are a number of key individuals in sneakers, including UNDEFEATED co-founder James Bond, UNDEFEATED creative director Chris Gibbs, Eric Koston, Mark Ronson, and Sneaker News founder Yu-Ming Wu. Updated July 25th, 2025: UNDEFEATED has launched an exclusive first opportunity at the Air Jordan 4 for Chicago locals only. The large shipping containers revealed earlier are located at Chicago’s Millennium Park (exact coordinates: 41.88167, -87.62289). The only way to enter this raffle is to scan a live QR code that will appear on the oversized screen on the shipping containers. This first release will be exclusive to those who can access the raffle in Chicago; the raffle will be open at 9:30AM CT until 9PM CT tonight. According to UNDEFEATED, entering the raffle at the pop-up increases your chances of being selected. Enter the RAFFLE HERE; winners must pick up in Chicago.
Updated earlier on July 25th, 2025: Three massive shipping containers have appeared at Chicago’s Millennium Park overnight. These grey, olive, and orange containers also have a giant digital screen that reads “loading” while also referencing the UNDEFEATED and Jordan logos. This all but confirms that something major is happening in Chicago, so stay tuned.
Updated July 23rd, 2025: UNDEFEATED confirms with Sneaker News that only ONE version of the Air Jordan 4 will be releasing to the public. The version with Nike Air on the heel will be available on August 2nd exclusively through UNDEFEATED. Stay tuned for further updates.

A re-release twenty years in the making, the UNDEFEATED x Air Jordan 4 is heralded as among the most significant sneaker collaborations in history, if not the most. Originally dropping in 2005 with a mere super-sparse 72 pairs in existence, the mythical Undefeated 4s featured a military green upper, black and orange accents, and a removable velcro patch on the tongue as a nod to MA-1 flight jackets worn by fighter pilots.
Rumors of Undefeated re-releasing their iconic collaboration happen on an annual basis, but none of the hearsay ever gained steam until late last year. With 2025 serving as the landmark 20th Anniversary of the project, there was no better time to re-tell the story, however unforgettable it is.
In addition to announcing a release date, Undefeated has shared an official teaser for their Air Jordan 4, although the shoes itself have already appeared in recent weeks; Clint Ogbenna of Corteiz shared a look during Paris Fashion Week, Lil’ Yachty secured a pair in early July, and Chris Gibbs was spotted wearing a pair in NYC.
