The Air Jordan 40 “Dongdan” PE Is Limited To Just Six Pairs

With “The Classic” colorway having dropped earlier this month, the Air Jordan 40 era has officially begun. As official images of the “Dusty Rose” and “Blue Suede” chart the model’s next steps, we’re now being hit with a first look at a “Dongdan” edition created for the synonymous Jordan-sponsored hoops tournament in Beijing. The only caveat; the sneaker is rumored to be a PE limited to just six pairs.

Shown here via images posted by @oklai19, the “Dongdan” Jordan 40 begins with an eye-catching metallic gold leather upper. The logo for the Dongdan streetball tournament appears on the left tongue, while an encircled orange Jumpman comes on the right. We’re also faced with a custom Jordan tag reading “In One’s Element” on the insoles, complemented by more orange hits on the heel logo and Jumpman motifs underfoot. Otherwise, grey suede placements around the collar and eyelets mirror a grey sole featuring semi-translucent tread.

Per @oklai19, the Jordan 40 “Dongdan” is a PE limited to just six total pairs. Jordan Brand has released a handful of other “Dongdan” shoes in 2025, including a Jordan 13 Low, Jordan 1 Low, and Luka .77 (all exclusive to China). This Air Jordan 40 would undoubtably by the collection’s highlight if it were to drop, but alas, that doesn’t appear to be the case for now.
