The New Balance 9060 may be better befitting of summer given its breezy construction, but it certainly doesn’t cede its dominant lifestyle positioning once we leave the warmest portion of the year. In fact, the Boston brand is already kitting its chunky icon out for the season ahead, asserting a “Fall Suedes” pack for the New Balance 9060 likely debuting soon.
While there are slight tweaks in the hues throughout, largely all four pairs here are united in conservative color blocking, pinning their primary shade on the topmost suede overlays while utilizing neutral fare underneath. For the earthier duo, wearing olive and dusty brown shades, they meet their subtle top notes with darkened bases on the mesh below. Similarly, the red and blue editions can be regarded as of a piece with one another, essentially utilizing the same off-white foundation to ground their more vibrant accent coloring.
All four pairs in the New Balance 9060 “Fall Suedes” pack have started populating global NB sites, likely indicating that a stateside release isn’t far behind. Be ready for a $150 retail price upon arrival.
