Jordan Nu Retro 1 Golf “Sport Royal” Is Available Now

Another familiar colorway graces the lifestyle-turned-golf shoe.

Jordan Nu Retro 1 Golf “Sport Royal” Is Available Now

In a rather surprising twist, the polarizing Jordan Nu Retro 1 has found new life as a golf shoe. Familiar Jordan 1 palettes have unsurprisingly reigned supreme on the altered low-top thus far, including “UNC,” “Green Toe,” and now a “Sport Royal” colorway you can cop now from nike.com.

To the uninitiated; the Jordan Nu Retro 1 originally hit shelves around the dusk of MJs playing career in 2002. Jordan Brand was in a bit of an awkward transition phase at the time, and it showed through the quirkiness of models released during that era. The Nu Retro 1 plays off Mike’s first signature with a large Wings logo split between two panels on the lateral side. The golf version, first spotted in December of last year, mixes things up with a new outsole featuring seven different traction spokes. Here we have a “Sport Royal” colorway reminiscent of any number of “Royal” AJ1s, namely 2020’s “Royal Toe” release. The toe box, heel panel, and portions of the midsole/outsole take on the titular color, while the rest of the design balances between black and white.

The Jordan Nu Retro 1 Golf “Sport Royal” is available now via Nike, priced at $155. See our Where To Buy section below for purchase links and hit our Jordan Release Dates page to browse upcoming pairs.
