Despite waning interest in the 80s basketball shoe genre, the Air Force 1 remains a pillar of street style. Nike’s best-selling model is currently readying for autumn with GORE-TEX, Cordura, and even a far out “Autumn Leaves” style, all while unassuming GRs have kept retailers stocked to the brim. Here we have a new LV8 colorway featuring a low-key greyscale mix, set to hit nike.com in the near future.

Taken with a muted palette of “Summit White/College Grey/Phantom,” Bruce Kilgore’s hardwood-turned-lifestyle staple here opts for suede overlays above crisp white leather. As an Air Force 1 LV8, these come with thicker laces and debossed “Nike Air” on the backtab. Nothing crazy – just a low-key essential that slots into just about any wardrobe.
