The New Balance 993 is proof that the right shoe doesn’t need all the bells and whistles to gain appeal. Put out a crisp colorway and let the streets to the talking because when this retro running silhouette first bounced back into the fold earlier this Spring, the brand couldn’t keep them on the shelves.
The next phase of the 993’s return is ready to commence, and it’ll begin with some new colorways the go beyond the classic looks. Here, the silhouette attracts the modern crowd of pink-loving peeps via the soft shade on the overlay. It’s matched with the standard silver quarters, while a black mesh is used as the base layer.
It’s not often it happens, but this 993 also opts for a near full-black midsole, with mere accents of the standard grey flecked into the cushioning system. Finally, the Made In England distinction is proudly displayed on the tongue in a contrasting white to ensure consumers exactly where these were manufactured.
This New Balance 993 is currently expected to hit New Balance retailers soon; they’ve already appeared in Europe so we’ll update you when these hit a wider market.
