The Nike Air Max Muse Steps Out In Red Leather

The women's silhouette marches on.

The Nike Air Max Muse Steps Out In Red Leather

Adding any new chapter to the Nike Air Max legacy comes with high stakes. In official press from Nike, designers didn’t take the idea of the Nike Air Max Muse lightly, but also didn’t simply want to refresh well-establish designs; they wanted to stamp something entirely new in the product line.

While your mileage may vary in terms of personal style, it’s hard to argue the Nike Air Max Muse doesn’t deliver on the novelty front. A pronounced heel, jeweled Air unit cage, molded overlays, and cut-out mudguard do truly make for a one-of-a-kind profile within the Visible Air heritage. After marking off its first collaboration with jewelry designer and stylist Veneda Carter, the model now issues a fiery new pair in “University Red.” All told, it’s essentially a palette swap of the introductory “Metallic Silver,” but the more vibrant tonality here and enduring eye-catching hardware make this is a standout colorway all the same.

The Nike Air Max Muse “University Red” is due out for Holiday 2025, arriving in women’s sizing for $170. Catch in-hand shots below and watch our Sneaker Release Dates hub for more updates.
