Nike Elevates The All-Black Air Force 1 With Velvet Laces

In what might be tied to Jordan 4 “Black Cat” anticipation, Nike is iterating on its most feared Air Force 1 colorway in a slew of different styles for Fall/Holiday 2025. We’ve spilled ink on several “Triple Black” Forces in recent weeks, including a pony hair style, premium leather version, and even a mixed-media pair featuring a ton of different textures. Now we’ve got another to report; a new elevated men’s release featuring velvet laces.

It’s largely the same “Triple Black” Air Force 1 we’re all familiar with, but with tumbled as opposed to the smooth leather of the nike.com mainstay. Velvet laces add a subtle premium touch, while velvet piping on the top of the tongue is the only other apparent cosmetic change.

The Nike Air Force 1 Low “Black Velvet Laces” is expected to release during the Fall 2025 window, meaning before the end of September at the latest. No MSRP has been announced, but we’re expecting a slight premium over the model’s usual $115 mark. See official images below and tap our Sneaker Release Dates page to browse more upcoming Nikes.
