As we’ve noted on many occasions at this point, the adidas Superstar is a major priority for the Three Stripes in 2025. While we were able to parse that from the heavy collaborative slate to begin the year, things really kicked into gear once their Superstar ad debuted in July, leveraging the very best of the German giant’s sponsees to espouse the historical value of the silhouette.

Speaking of aging well, an additional flank of the Superstar strategy this year has been ultra-luxe editions of the shell toe. Well explored via additional “Made In” pairs like the Samba, Italia, and Handball Spezial, the program brings premium matterials and handcrafted processes to core Three Stripes models. This general release comes on the heels of a few collaborative efforts headed by JJJJound and a highly-limited A-Type recreation of the original model. Though off-white touches on the rubber match the refined atmosphere running through this pair, classic sporty appeal remains intact with the split red/blue branding between.
