PUMA Celebrates The 75th Anniversary Of F1 With A Racy Inhale

There isn’t a sneaker brand more thrilled about the growing popularity of Formula 1 than PUMA. Look no further than the PUMA Speedcat; a once-archived driving shoe that’s returned and become extremely popular due to F1’s increased profile (and the larger slim-sole movement at that). On top of sponsoring several teams at a local level, PUMA also boasts a multi-year F1 partnership covering apparel, accessories, and for our purposes, footwear. With F1 celebrating its 75th anniversary this year, the Big Cat is marking the occasion with a special PUMA Inhale release.

Unveiled by @sneakertown, the PUMA Inhale here matches the F1 logo with a red/black gradient upper. Naturally, it’s the branded touches that make for a truly special pair. A “75th Anniversary” crest appears in white on the tongue, complemented by an F1 logo over a new layer of fabric on the heel. A co-branded black and red F1 keychain is included with the shoes, as is a custom black shoe box featuring more F1 logos. It’s worth noting that the Inhale is a Y2K running sneaker and not a driving shoe, but with that being said, PUMA is clearly trying to position it as such. The model was brought back last year as part of the German brand’s Formula 1 partnership, of which A$AP Rocky is creative director.

No release date for the PUMA Inhale “F1 75th Anniversary” has been announced yet, but we’ll update this article as soon as that changes. For now, enjoy detailed images below.
