Despite not being a part of the model’s introductory 1996 run, the “French Blue” 12s are regarded as one of the better Jordan 12 colorways of all time. The sneaker originally released in 2004 after MJ hung ’em up for good and saw its first retro in 2016. Kobe Bryant all but ensured a successful release by wearing the “French Blue” 12s with his blue LA Lakers Christmas jersey in 2003 (back during his sneaker free agency stint).

True to form, the 2025 drop features a white leather upper, metallic silver eyelets, and titular “French Blue” on the mudguard and outsole. Red hits appear on the spine, “23” heel text, and visible carbon fiber-inspired pattern underfoot. While perhaps overshadowed by the two big collabs dropping close to it, the “French Blue” Jordan 12 is certainly a must for much of the Air Jordan purist crowd.

Again, the Jordan 12 “French Blue” drops August 16th in full family sizes. Scroll back up to our Where To Buy section for the full store list.
