Another PE joins the Nike Book 1 canon.

Only Hiroshi Fujiwara And Devin Booker Have This Fragment Design x Nike Book 1

To the same extent as general release colorways, the Nike Book 1 era has been defined by PE styles us common folk can only admire from afar. This is perhaps the most limited pair we’ve seen yet; a red snakeskin Fragment Design x Nike Book 1 owned by just Devin Booker and Hiroshi Fujiwara.

Importantly, this isn’t the first time we’ve seen Fragment touch up the inaugural Devin Booker shoe. In December of 2024, Devin laced up a different Fragment Book 1 featuring a full snakeskin upper and Fragment’s signature royal blue shade. This newly-revealed PE takes a different approach, saddled with a new red snakeskin backtab and white leather base featuring perforated Swoosh logos. Hiroshi’s pair reads “1 of 2” on the lining, suggesting he and Devin Booker are the only owners of this super-limited pair. For those in the know, this PE references fragment design’s Nike Tennis Classic AC that dropped back in 2016.

There are currently no plans for a Fragment Design x Nike Book 1 to release publicly, but fans can take solace in the fact that there’s a clear relationship there. We wouldn’t be surprised to see Fragment and Nike Basketball drop a collaborative Devin Booker shoe later down the line, maybe a Book 1 or maybe even a Nike Book 2 (which is expected to arrive Spring 2026). Fragment is staying in our headlines regardless, mainly due to the impending Fragment Travis Scott Jordan 1 Low and a collection of three Fragment Union Jordan 1 releases in 2026.

Again, the Fragment Design x Nike Book 1 “Red Snakeskin” is a limited PE and will not see a public release. See detailed images posted by Hiroshi Fujiwara below and hit our Sneaker Release Dates page to browse hoops shoes you can actually get your hands on, including upcoming Nike Ja 3 colorways.
