The adidas Predator Megaride Glistens In “Silver Metallic”

With soccer style still in fashion, the popularity of adidas soccer sneakers remain on an upward trajectory. Earlier this year, adidas got into its Y2K bag with a re-introduction of the Predator Megaride, unleashing GR colorways alongside collabs with atmos, KITH, and Mercedes-AMG. Now in an apt demonstration of the model’s 2000s roots, the Megaride here takes on flashy “Silver Metallic” makeup for September 2025.

The sneaker is monchrome bordering on monotone, taken with a “Silver Metallic” leather upper and a matching finish atop its bouncy Megaride heel cushioning. adidas’ “Grey Two” shade enters the mix on the shoe’s curved stripes, including ventilated motifs on the medial side. The Predator Megaride is of course inspired by the Predator Absolute; a legendary soccer boot that cut its teeth on the pitch back in 2006. Originally touted as a hybrid runner, the Megaride is now settling into a new life as a soccer-inspired lifestyle proposition.

The adidas Predator Megaride “Metallic Silver” releases September 2025 for $160 via adidas.com and select retailers; see official images below if you’re moved to cop.
