Some mystery behind these unreleased looks.

New Balance Has Some Wild Abzorb 2010 Pairs In The Works

As our readers will know, the New Balance Abzorb 2010 is really beginning to pick up steam, beginning to get its legs under it with fresh seasonal looks and releases of pairs that’ve been teased for months. Three new samples have just hit the ‘net that provide possible indications that the New Balance 2010 will really let its hair down in the coming months.

Of this unreleased trio, one reads as a rather simplistic yet still effective GR, uniting most of the shoe’s real estate in trademark grey but siloing the rear ABZORB pods in bright yellow. On top of bolstering the brand’s hallmark in a strength-on-strength sort of way, it also serves up a natural highlight of the tech in the silhouette’s name.

From there, we get a far more vibrant and experimental edition, utilizing a range of warm colors through shaggy suede overlays and laces, landing on white on a reimagened base layer, weaving together a sheer, tight knit mesh and a far wider chain-like style underneath. Perhaps more intriguingly, exposed stitching ties literal string to the shoe, an out-of-left-field touch that may indicate a collaboration.

Speaking of, the last up may also be a shared design. While Joe Freshgoods disavowed an earlier revealed New Balance 2010 sample with cheetah print overlays, a pair here with a yellowed sole unit, snakeskin-like panels, and branching metallic chains does bear some resemblance to a pair he teased in his kaleidoscope of samples shared as he checked off 5 years with NB. Whether this is in fact one that’ll see release or simply a step in the design process remains to be seen.

Catch in-hand shots of all three included below — we’ll keep this page updated as additional info on each surfaces.
