Marvin Harrison Jr. Models The New Balance “Desert Heat” Collection

New Balance is heading down south with a “Desert Heat” collection dropping exclusively at Foot Locker, and they found the perfect man to help show it off. Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. here models some of the Boston brand’s hottest retro runners, sporting black-based colorways featuring vibrant, attention-grabbing accents.

First up is the New Balance 1906R, easily one of the most ubiquitous 2000s-inspired models of the past few years. Two colorways appear in the “Desert Heat” collection, starting with a multi-color adult and GS look featuring black/blue mesh and a smattering of yellow/green/pink accents. The other 1906R will be available in women’s sizes only, opting for a more simple yet equally eye-catching red/pink/black combo. Rounding out the spread is the New Balance 1000 in a watermelon-esque black/pink/green look, crafted with suede overlays, black leather, and a ripstop base layer.

The New Balance “Desert Heat” collection is said to release exclusively via Foot Locker on August 28th, but Champs currently has some styles up on their release calendar as well. See detailed images below and visit our Sneaker Release Dates page to preview more upcoming retailer-exclusives.
