South Carolina Athletics Inks 10-Year Deal With Nike

The University of South Carolina, an Under Armour school since 2007, is making the switch to the Swoosh in 2026. Nike and South Carolina Athletics today announced a ten-year deal that will see Nike outfit all of the Gamecocks’ 21 athletic programs starting next July.

“As we look ahead to this dynamic partnership, Nike is honored to join forces with the University of South Carolina program renowned for its passionate spirit and commitment to excellence. Together, we will empower Gamecock athletes with the latest in performance innovation and design, fueling their ambitions on the field and inspiring fans off it. We are excited to help shape the next chapter of South Carolina athletics, supporting every athlete’s journey and celebrating every new milestone along the way,” says Ann Miller, Executive Vice President, Global Sports Marketing.

Students, alumni, and fans will be able to purchase officially licensed South Carolina Nike gear once the partnership officially begins in July of 2026. In our world, we’re also looking forward to seeing Nike Basketball/Football PEs created for South Carolina athletes. The Beaverton brand already has a South Carolina alum on its signature roster, that of course being Las Vegas Aces star A’ja Wilson.
