The Nike Air Max TL 2.5 Shifts Into Darker Tones For The Cooler Months

Metallic silver accents add some flair.

The Nike Air Max TL 2.5 Shifts Into Darker Tones For The Cooler Months

The Nike Air Max TL 2.5 sat at outlets during its first stint in the 2000s, but nearly two decades later, it now finds itself… back at outlets again. Nike’s decision to bring back the full-length Air model hasn’t panned out as some may have hoped, perhaps due to its lofty price tag and/or the continued rise of slimmer sneakers. Still, there’s more to love from the model as we approach autumn and winter.

Official retailer images show a dark grey colorway featuring navy blue mesh up top; a rather low-key take on the running-turned-lifestyle cut. Scattered “Metallic Silver” accents appear on the Swoosh logos and upper TPU detailing for some welcome visibility, while a grey midsole featuring a blue Air unit lands underfoot.

The Nike Air Max TL 2.5 “Grey/Blue” releases Fall/Winter 2025 for $190 in men’s sizes; see official retailer images below and visit our Sneaker Release Dates page to browse more upcoming Air Max.

Speaking of which, the Air Max 95 “Solar Red” is the next OG-inspired look to get the big bubble treatment.
