“Collegiate Burgundy” Settles On The adidas Predator Megaride

In case you haven’t noticed, the Three Stripes is going all in on Megaride. As a runoff effect of their dominance within soccer footwear trends, the adidas Predator Megaride has been a steady presence this year, a mash-up concept combining one of their more storied cleat models and a wonky propulsion system of the same era.

The Megaride family has already spawned further branches out from this central model, with Willy Chavarria spotlighting the Megaride AG for SS26 at a somewhat recent exhibition. Back to the model at hand, however, the Predator Megaride shifts from the attention-grabbing shades that it’s worn so far in the mainline for a more lifestyle-ready variant. Though the silver trim , medial cage, and overall detailing keeps the aughts alive, tonal “Collegiate Burgundy” allows things to take a calmer direction compared to what we’re used to from this hybrid formulation.

The adidas Predator Megaride “Collegiate Burgundy” should touch down on adidas.com in the coming weeks, clocking in with a $150 retail price.
