Hellstar Confirms adidas Partnership, Reveals Superstar Collaboration

Los Angeles imprint Hellstar is genuinely one of the fastest risers we’ve seen in the streetwear space in years, founded in 2020 and now boasting a roster of celebrity endorsers from Kai Cenat to Metro Boomin. Maybe the biggest addition to its rolodex is at hand, as the Hellstar x adidas Superstar now hits the ‘net.

If you somehow haven’t come across the brand’s design language before, this shoe functions as a decent enough crash course, earing trademark flames designs and maximalist, almost devilish detailing; an anguished face peers out from the medial heel panel, aggressive stitching sits just above, and fiery ribbon lacing sits below uncut eye-stay panels. Always a favored touch for adidas’ collaborators, the Hellstar logo then sits on the tongue tag as legends and notable collaborators tend to. To close out, smoky finishes on the shell toe and outsole collide with spell-out laces, ensuring that genuinely none of the real estate on this shoe goes untouched by the design team.

Those who’ve been truly tapped into the Hellstar universe may have sensed that something like this was on the horizon. Parse through their lookbook shots from the past few months and you’ll note a serious amount of Three Stripes footwear accompanying their inline pieces, a probable indicator that this is a relationship that’s only getting started.

Word of this team-up comes directly from the Hellstar team themselves, providing their fan community on Discord this earnest first look. As such, release details for the Hellstar x adidas Superstar are scant at the time of writing, but if direct team members are already teasing the shoe, more info likely isn’t far behind.
