The Boston brand has tapped Aminé for honor of the first global New Balance 2000 collab, and they’re going all-out to ensure a splashy release. On top of a book drive activation to support the drop of the green “Bilbioteca” Aminé New Balance 2000 on October 4th, the two parties have announced an additional, super-limited colorway that will only be available via giveaway.
Those attending Aminé’s The Best Day Ever festival in his hometown of Portland, Oregon can enter to win a fruity multi-color New Balance 2000, limited to just 100 units. Bright neon shades of blue, pink, orange, and yellow work in tandem to produce a true neck-breaker, aptly echoing the signage for the event. Note that entering for the sneaker requires you to pre-order the “Bilbioteca” colorway at the festival, which is the only way to guarantee a pair at retail.
Aminé’s “Bilbioteca” is technically the second New Balance 2000 collaboration we’ve seen thus far, preceded by a super-limited pink style by Joe Freshgoods that dropped exclusively on the streets of Paris.
