Devin Booker proved to be the most valuable player in that department, often sharing minutes with the A squad and taking care of all the dirty work. He drew tough defensive matchups and made the right extra pass to the point of frustration for the opponents, and Booker deservedly was on the court during the final moments of the 2024 Paris Games.
As part of Nike Basketball’s Immortal Collection, a plot-line we’ve been following since SKUs and pricing information surfaced months ago, the Swoosh will be dropping the two primary Player Exclusives worn by D-Book throughout the global Games. Both feature simple constructions of a Home white leather and an Away in Navy, but with a decorative Swoosh in a golden iridescent finish atop statement Safari print. The white version breaks from that gilded atmosphere with light blue animal prints on the branding. Though challenging to make out in these shots, an illustration of Devin Booker with his camcorder, alluding to his analog documentation of his Parisian travels, appears behind the tongue.
2024 was truly a pivotal one for Book, who not only took home a Gold Medal, but also dropped pairs of his shoes around Paris to tangibly interact with fans. Simply put, it’s one that Devin will remember forever — commemorated “for all time” with this colorway duo. The Nike Book 1 “Immortal” is scheduled to launch on September 17th as a pack release; retailing for $310 and including both shoes here. Retailers are also expected to drop Devin’s counterparts’ shoes: the Nike LeBron 22 “Immortal” and Nike KD 4 + 18 “Immortal” the same day.
