Matt Varga It’s certainly not their main mission, but Nike has consistently been pushing their roster of lifestyle kicks onto the green. It’s an initiative perhaps best exemplified with the Air Jordan 1, their efforts coming to a genuinely show-stopping climax as the Travis Scott shoes empire looked to the fairway with his “Neutral Olive” color-up in 2023.
Though Mike’s signature may be the single most populous silhouette in that mix, the Nike Air Max line may overtake it if you expand the scope out to entire product families. A recent addition to the crowd, the Air Max Plus hasn’t missed a beat in transferring over to the performance side, already checking off many of its most significant colorways in this new life. The shoe at hand eschews those historical ties but remains just as stylish, leaning on an always-suitable mix of black, “Metallic Silver,” and white through most of its real estate. To round out, the usual slew of yellow accents dot the traction and TN branding, while a lone “Total Orange” Swoosh interrupts the quarter.
Despite its performance tooling, the Nike Air Max Plus Golf “Metallic Silver” remains a GR product, and as such, can be expected to hit Nike.com without much advance notice.
