The Nike Air Max Sunder Picks Out Futuristic Silver And “Fusion Red”

Hi-vis shine for this winter release.

The Nike Air Max Sunder Picks Out Futuristic Silver And “Fusion Red”

The Nike Air Max Sunder first came to light as part of the Alpha Project, a 1999 sub-brand within Beaverton that focused on visible tech and futuristic design language. As we continue to parse a heavy slate of new colorways for the turn-of-the-century silhouette, it’s only right that the model returns to similar retrofuturistic leanings with the Nike Air Max Sunder “Fusion Red.”

Coming on the heels of loud editions like the Air Max Sunder “Realtree Camo” and Air Max Sunder “Off Noir,” each bearing expressive prints that push beyond the simplistic blocking that defined the model’s original run, the shoe at hand threads the needle between either school of thought. Though the layout sticks to the same script as an OG like the “Canyon Gold,” impactful swaps like the glamorous silver exterior or a pink tint to the reflective mudguard panels push into that same can’t-miss atmosphere.

Despite its glamorous touches, the Nike Air Max Sunder “Silver / Fusion Red” remains a general release proposition. Given that, this pair will likely hit Nike.com sometime in the coming weeks without much warning, carrying a $180 retail price and coming exclusively in women’s sizing.
