Sneaker News One of Spike Lee’s Jordan footwear models is confirmed to make a return in 2026. The Jordan Son Of Mars Low, which first debuted in 2015, is expected to make a return in full family sizing.
“A Spike Lee” joint often signals a piece of mastery on the silver screen. When it comes to Jordans, the reviews are mixed. Spike Lee is of course an influential figure in the history of Nike and the growth of Air Jordan, partaking in advertisement campaigns that were unlike anything else at the time. His contributions to those early ads eventually led to his own signature shoe called the Jordan Spiz’ike, a hybrid sneaker that combined design elements of the Air Jordan 3, 4, 5, 6, 9, and 20.
Upon its release in 2006, the Spiz’ike was fairly well-adopted by the core Jordan fanbase. This kick-started an era of multi-shoe mash-ups, leading to models like the Jordan Dub Zero, the Jordan 6 Rings, and much more. These models, despite not having any real connection to Spike Lee, were heavily influenced by the success of the Spiz’ike.
Later in Summer 2012, Jordan Brand explored the possibilities of a multi-shoe cross-pollination with Spike Lee again. Focusing on the same models that influenced the Spiz’ike, the Jordan Son Of Mars was eventually created. From that came the Jordan Son Of Mars Low, itself a mix of the Air Jordan 3, 4, 5, and the 6 (see below).

Sneaker News can confirm that the Jordan Son Of Mars Low will indeed return Summer 2026 in full family sizes. The confirmed color options include the “Black Cement”, the “White Cement”, the “Cement Grey”, and the “Do The Right Thing”. Each of these colorways reference an Air Jordan shoe of the past, although it’s unclear exactly how they’ll be executed (Nike Air on the heel being a possibility).
