Dropping December 20th.

First Look At The Air Jordan 8 “Bugs Bunny”

Closing out Jordan Brand’s mammoth year of releases is one of the most cherished originals of all-time. The Air Jordan 8 “Bugs Bunny”, clad in white, black, red, and grey, will hit retailers on December 20th, 2025. Continue reading to learn more about this upcoming drop.

The Air Jordan 8 “Bugs Bunny” originally released back in 1993 with an MSRP of $125. This white/grey/red/black colorway was one of three original color schemes that hit stores; Michael Jordan himself wore this specific colorway throughout the latter half of the 1993 season.

Since its release in 1993, Jordan Brand brought this back to stores in decade-long increments. The first-ever Retro release came in 2003, followed by another in 2013. The upcoming 2025 release breaks that cadence, but the first-look images reveal that the wait was well worth it as the shape, construction, and materials are as close to the ’93 originals.

More details will surface as we near the end of the 2025, including official images, and more. The shoes are expected to release on SNKRS, Foot Locker, DICK’S Sporting Goods, Finish Line, and other nationwide retailers as well as boutique-level shops such as Sneaker Politics, Undefeated, Concepts, Extra Butter, and much more. Stay tuned to our Jordan Release Dates page for the latest.

When is the Air Jordan 8 “Bugs Bunny” releasing?

The Air Jordan 8 “Bugs Bunny” is expected to release on December 20th, 2025. Full family sizes (Adult, Grade School, Pre School, Toddler) are expected to hit stores.

Where did the Air Jordan 8 “Bugs Bunny” nickname come from?

In the early-mid 1990s, Nike did a lot of advertising with Warner Bros. Looney Tunes characters. Bugs Bunny appeared a series of ads wearing this exactly colorway; the hits of white and grey matched the cartoon’s signature fur colors. Bugs Bunny also wore the shoes in the 1996 movie Space Jam.
