First Look At The Air Jordan 11 “China”

It’s been a year of banner anniversaries over in Beaverton, helmed by the Nike Air Max 95, Air Jordan 5, and several other silhouettes that debuted in years divisible by five. The most notable absentee to this point has been the Air Jordan 11 — a sneaker many Jordan fans (as well as MJ himself) regard as the line’s greatest of all time.

While most Jordan silhouettes see year-round drops, the Jordan 11 has habitually focused on the holiday shopping season (as well as low-tops during summer in more recent years). With 2025 marking the 30th anniversary of the model’s debut, Jordan Brand is going all-out with the most extensive seasonal Jordan 11 lineup we’ve ever seen. Sneakerheads can look forward to a whopping nine Jordan 11 releases for Holiday 2025/Spring 2026, including a “Gamma” retro, a “Rare Air” colorway, and a compelling lineup of regional exclusives.

Here we have the Jordan 11 “China,” born from Jordan Brand’s ambition to grow its presence in the East — something we’ve seen the Jumpman pursue with the now-standard China tours for its sponsored NBA stars. In a word, these are pure class. Official images courtesy of Jordan Brand show a canvas and suede upper featuring an embroidered and braided pattern. A reddish-brown leather mudguard tastefully incorporates the traditional Chinese color for vitality and good fortune (as well as a nod to the Chinese flag), while a pink silk sockliner pays homage to one of the country’s most famous exports. A suede midsole is utilized for the first time ever on an Air Jordan 11, followed by a fan-favorite brown gum tread.

When does the Air Jordan 11 “China” release?

The Air Jordan 11 “China” drops December 1st, 2025, exclusively in China across Jordan Brand and Nike digital channels and select retail locations. No retail price has been announced as of this writing, but our Jordan Release Dates page will be kept up to date with all available info.
