Andrew Rizzo The Nike Shox Ride 2 remains a key part of Nike’s Y2K catalog, continuing to surface in simple colorways and fresh styles that explore different aesthetics.
For Holiday 2025, the Shox Ride 2 is taking on a black style we can only liken to Salomon models like the XT-6 and XT-4. Pull laces replace the model’s standard oval ones, and the base is updated with a more airy mesh fabric instead of the model’s usual tighter-knit, coarser material. This is just one of several mold-breaking Shox Ride 2 styles to emerge in recent seasons, joined by distressed looks, a mossy denim pair, and a Nike ACG-inspired build to name a few.
