Andrew Rizzo Stüssy has time and again proven its ability to jumpstart successful Nike retro runs through its collaborations. We saw it with the Spiridon Cage 2, we saw it with the Air Max 2013, and come October 10th, we’ll see it with the Nike Baltoro — a hiking boot from 1990.
Named after the Baltoro Glacier in the Himalayas, the original Baltoro debuted as part of the Nike ACG product line and featured a high, ankle-hugging cut. The modern version, unveiled here via the Stüssy collab, employs a shorter height for a more approachable look suited to lifestyle wear. A total of four Stüssy colorways are set to release, starting with a simple all-leather black-and-white build. The other three — arriving in brown, “Safety Orange,” and “Light British Tan” — feature canvas and hairy suede constructions.
Stüssy’s collaboration kicks off a full-fledged revival of the Baltoro, with several general release styles expected for Holiday 2025 and well into 2026. The Baltoro begins its latest retro run just as the Nike ACG Torre — a likeminded hiking boot that debuted in the mid ’90s — moves back into the Nike archive following a strong run from 2023-2025.
When does the Stüssy Nike Baltoro release?
The Stüssy x Nike Baltoro collection releases October 10th, 2025 via stussy.com and select Stüssy chapter stores. A SNKRS release is confirmed for October 17th, 2025 in the black/white colorway.
