Nike Boots Are Back: Pony Haired Air Max Goadomes Are Coming Soon

To the delight of its many cult followers, the Nike Air Max Goadome — or simply the “Nike Boot,” according to Wale — is receiving the most attention it’s gotten in years. Joining a spread of simple colorways you can cop now from nike.com is a “Pony Hair” pack for Holiday 2025, shown here for the first time courtesy of A$AP Bari.

To the uninitiated, the Goadome debuted under the Nike ACG line in 2000 in an effort to compete with Timberland boots. It was extremely successful in that regard, amassing cult followings in several cities along the East Coast (so much so that there’s still debate over whether New York or the DMV is most responsible for the model’s popularity).

For Holiday 2025, the Goadome is entering new territory with a set of faux pony hair makeups. The always-fashionable A$AP Bari — who owns his own streetwear brand, ENDLESS DENIM, and even has his own independently made sneakers in the works — gives us a first look at two upcoming styles. One comes decked out in black pony hair for a more versatile aesthetic, while the other can be likened to a brown cow with tan spots over a white base.

The Air Max Goadome “Pony Hair” pack is due out Holiday 2025, but no firm release date has been announced as of this writing. The Goadome typically retails for $200, though it’s likely these pony hair styles will command a slight markup. We’ll update our coverage once official images and firm drop details surface.
