The adidas Climacool Laced Goes Full Monotone In “Wonder Taupe”

The best colorway yet?

The adidas Climacool Laced Goes Full Monotone In “Wonder Taupe”

When adidas previewed its 3D-printed Climacool series earlier this year, the brand told us the next chapter would include more colorways beyond the introductory “Off-White.” Now it appears that chapter is set to arrive soon. Following images of a flashy “Pink/Black” colorway last month, the laced version of the Climacool is pressing forward with a monotone “Wonder Taupe” makeup for Holiday 2025.

Subjectively speaking, this might just be the best-looking Climacool we’ve seen yet. The monochromatic pinkish colorway allows the model’s intricate engineering to shine through in all its glory, putting full emphasis on the shoe’s shape and uniquely molded curvature. For the uninitiated, the Climacool is anchored by a one-piece 3D-printed lattice structure designed to maximize breathability, comfort, and airflow. While the Climacool proper consists solely of polyurethane material, the laced version introduces a tongue and lacing system for a bit more familiarity to the average consumer.

The adidas Climacool Laced “Wonder Taupe” releases Holiday 2025 for $160 in unisex sizes. Note that the model comes in half sizes and runs a little snug, so we strongly advise sizing up (cop a 10.5 if you usually wear a 10 in adidas).
