POST ARCHIVE FACTION & On Running Launch Third “Current Form” Capsule

Chapter three in a fast and furious collaboration.

POST ARCHIVE FACTION & On Running Launch Third “Current Form” Capsule

Twenty years ago, the footwear seen on the runway and seen on the trail were chasms apart. We’ve beat the drum about the increasingly blurring lines between those two worlds on plenty of occasions before, but it’s not just the most prominent players to credit for that shift. The partnership between On Running and POST ARCHIVE FACTION is proof, first minted in 2024 and already on their third collection.

The “Current Form 3.0” capsule sees PAF afforded their greatest creative license to date, creating a hybrid design by placing the Cloudmonster 2 upper atop the Cloudmonster Hyper sole unit. Though the latter is billed as the lightest in the ON roster, the mashup creates some tangible visual tension, pairing thinned-out, sleek uppers with the toolsy, toothed traction underneath. Of course, PAF’s touch doesn’t stop there, adding an additional pull tab on the tongue and utilizing their minimalist language for three monochromatic editions in all-white, all-black, and neutral grey.

The POST ARCHIVE FACTION x On Cloud Monster Hyper launched today (October 9th) via ON and PAF channels, but has already sold out via both. You’ll have to seek out these three colorways via retail partners if you’re aiming to get in on this third chapter.
