Yes, LeBron James pulled a LeFake for the ages with a hyped-up “second Decision,” revealed to be marketing for his Hennessy partnership rather than a retirement announcement. However, as the final chapters of his all-time NBA career transpire, there’s an additional shine and profundity to each passing season — something that Nike has trumpeted as the LeBron 23 has started to hit the market.

The King’s litany of defining accomplishments will inspire all of the chapters for his latest signature, having already checked off becoming the all-time scorer and earning his first two championships with the Miami Heat. While you won’t find it on his Basketball Reference page, sharing the court with his son, Bronny James, is no doubt an all-time sentimental moment — and one that speaks to his unbelievable legacy.
