Matt Varga Bravo’s stranglehold on the reality TV genre is beyond debate, host to always-in-the-discourse franchises from Below Deck to Summer House. However much traction any fresher invention may get, it’s impossible to know The Real Housewives off its perch as the network’s most valuable property, now spread into eleven US markets and inspiring scores upon scores of international spin-offs (The Real Housewives Żony Warszawy heads, stand up).
Though the IP’s presence is felt in plenty of other verticals, footwear has been one left relatively untouched. That all changes as Reebok and Bravo join up for The Real Housewives x Reebok Club C collection, pouring out odes to five of the more notable editions of the series: Beverly Hills, New York City, Potomac, Atlanta, and a recent riser, Salt Lake City (dropping HERE on 10/27.)
The movers behind this collection confirm that the Club C’s classic status within Reebok and the Housewives’ similarly totemic position created the foundation for this capsule, utilizing the defining tones of each locale for the resulting colorways. Peachy hues on the Atlanta edition are the easiest to identify, but a white base and neon accents for Salt Lake City, nightlife-approved black and red for New York, champagne pink for Potomac, and glitzy silver for the standard bearers in Beverly Hills make for strong connections. Rounding out the offerings is an appearance from the Reebok Club C Vintage dedicated to Vegas’ annual BravoCon, replete with gilded branding, semi-quilted uppers, and a sparkly gum sole.
