Frankenstein’s Monster Comes To Life On The Nike Dunk Low

Updated October 14th, 2025: The “Frankenstein” Dunks are available early via Nordstrom (see linked text to cop).

Original article published October 13th, 2025:

You thought the Nike Dunk was dead? This October release begs to differ. Nike is proclaiming “it’s alive, it’s alive!” with a special Halloween style reminiscent of Frankenstein’s monster, shown here via official images.

As the story goes, Frankenstein’s monster was created by piecing together organic parts to form a grotesque, living creature. In that same spirit, the Dunk Low is presented in a unique patchwork style featuring multiple textures and colors inspired by the monster’s look. The base is cut from light brown fuzzy suede, while black and green canvas panels wrap the forefoot and heel. Black Swoosh logos are embroidered on each side, and small cross stitches replace the usual toe box perforations for a stitched-together effect. Black contrast and distressed, tattered laces further the aesthetic, while a black midsole and pea green outsole complete the monstrous design underfoot. It’s giving shades of Zion Williamson’s “Voodoo” Jordan 1s, though this one isn’t a collab.

The “Frankenstein” Dunks are expected to release October 2025 for $120, potentially on 10/21 alongside the rest of Nike’s Halloween lineup. See official images below if you’re planning to cop.
