Andrew Rizzo We’re now over three years into the Nike Zoom Vomero 5’s current stint on shelves, and it’s hard to imagine it going anywhere anytime soon. While the 2011-born runner is no longer “new” in any respect, consumers continue to discover the model on their own — some for the second time, and some for the first.
Next up for the Vomero 5 is a crisp “Sail/Light Silver/Seaweed” women’s colorway for Holiday 2025. The design formula here is a familiar one: white mesh covers the base layer, while “Sail” spreads across the midsole for that pre-aged aesthetic. The heel counter, quarter, and toe cap come in “Light Silver” (which reads more like a pale, minty blue), while a metallic silver finish lands on the Swoosh and quarter detailing. Adding some contrast to the otherwise soft palette, the deep green “Seaweed” hue hits the underlays, lining, and heel portion of the midsole.
